THIS IS STILL HAPPENING
WHO WE HELP
Though outlawed in nearly every nation, the scourge of trafficking and slavery continues to grip millions of lives across the globe. Entire families endure brutal conditions, forced into backbreaking labor at brick factories, rice mills, and garment workshops—often toiling up to 20 hours a day. Deceptive promises of love or lucrative employment lure women into the dark world of sex trafficking. Even toddlers are subjected to horrifying online abuse, exploited for the eyes of strangers worldwide.
Today, roughly 50 million individuals remain ensnared in this invisible captivity.
The vast majority—about 90%—of forced labor occurs behind closed doors, woven into private homes, businesses, and global supply chains.
This cruel trade reaps an estimated $150 billion annually, with commercial sexual exploitation accounting for nearly two-thirds of these profits.
